I heard so much in the silence

visioning the details of the dark

shadows of silhouettes  

alone save the company of the forest

my pace slows to preserve the experience

a break in the canopy

a burst of stars at each turn

a hill a new possibility  

Reaching the end

the lights the noise the chaos

Refreshed in spirit
